I am the module leader for paramedic practice-based learning 1 at the University of Hertfordshire. The teaching for this module is provided by a variety of lecturers and ambulance staff, covering a breadth of topics to prepare you for entering the placement environment. The practice placement is a vital element of the course as it allows students to put theory into practice and develop the knowledge and skills necessary for safe patient assessment. The PebblePad allows students to accurately record elements involved in their placement and demonstrate competence in aspects of the patient experience.
